How can I get more than one Class A zone?
Use an FZA, which will provide you with five Class A input zones. Up to two FZAs may be installed, which will give you a total of ten additional class A input zones.
The FZA connects to the S1000 via an RS-485 network. If you have a "plus" model, you already have a network port. If you have a standard model, you'll need a NIM (a Network Interface Module).
You'll also need to use one of the auxiliary 24V outputs as a power source for the FZA. Refer to the S1000 installation manual for a discussion of FZA installation and programming.
