The Series 1000 is designed for commercial and industrial automatic, manual, supervisory, local and remote fire alarm system applications. It offers coded and non-coded operation.

Configuration

The Series 1000 family offers panels in two configurations: Standard and Plus (+).

The 1005 offers two Class B signaling circuits, one Class A or B and 4 Class B initiating circuits. A local sounder with resound gives distinct audible annunciation of Alarm, Trouble and Supervisory conditions. The 4-character LED display provides visual indication of the location and status of operating conditions.

Initiating circuits can be individually programmed for supervisory, waterflow, alarm verification, and auxiliary relay functions. Initiating circuits can be programmed to ring signal circuit one, two or both. Any unused initiating circuit can be turned off to conserve power and eliminate the need for an End of Line Resistor (EOLR).

The signaling circuits are individually transient protected and can be silenced individually. Signal circuits can be programmed by initiating circuit to annunciate March Time (60 or 102 bps), Temporal Code, Pre-alarm Notification or a steady tone.

Two programmable signaling circuits (Class B) with a total of 3 amps of additional power can be added by using the IPB-3 In Line Power Booster. Up to 16 IPB-3 power boosters or Remote Annunciators can be networked to each Series 1000 panel.

Optional auxiliary system relays (AXR) and zone relays(ZRM) are programmable by the initiating zone and provide Form C contacts, rated at 10 amps.

The 1010 offers all the features of the 1005 with 5 additional programmable Class B initiating circuits.

The 1005+ and 1010+ models feature a clock display, RS232 and RS485 serial communication, battery backed event log and up/download capability.
